文章主要从传记写作的宗旨、传记材料的搜集、传记作家的职责及其新颖的传记文体观四个方面论述了柳宗元的传记文学思想 ,并认为柳宗元的传记文学思想具有一定的系统性 。

This paper explores Liu Zongyuan's thinking on biographical literature in four aspects-aim of biographical writing, how to collect and reorganize material for biographies, the biographer's responsibility and his novel sense of literary style, discusses the systematic nature in these four aspects, and reveals that Liu Zongyuan's thoughts on biographical literature have made great contributions to China's ancient theories of biographical literature.
