A Review of the Newspapers Run by the Zhejiang Students Studying in Japan at the Beginning of the Twentieth Century

2 0世纪初 ,浙江留学生在日本创办了《浙江潮》、《白话》等华文报刊 ,它们是中国留日学生所创办的革命报刊的重要组成部分。这些报刊向读者宣传了西方资产阶级政治学说 ,抨击了帝国主义列强的侵略行径 ,同时把革命的矛头指向清朝政府与封建专制统治 。

At the beginning of the 20th century, the Zhejiang students studying in Japan set up Chinese newspapers such as Zhejiang Current, Vernacular Chinese, which became an important component of the revolutionary newspapers run by Chinese students studying in Japan. These newspapers disseminated Western capitalist political theories and denounced the aggressions of the imperialist powers and leveled their revolutionary attack against the Qing Government and the feudal autocratic rule and, as a result, prepared for the Revolution of 1911 in terms of public opinion.
