Consolidation technology of dry vibro stone piles is a very efficient method for foundation treatment, but it was seldom used in the treatment of newly filled earth. This article makes an introduction of the application of this technology in the newly filled earth foundation consolidation of a engineering project, an exposition for the design process, implementation of the scheme and consolidating effect,and analysis of the construction process and measures of quality control of dry vibro stone piles suitable for the characteristics of newly filled earth geological conditions. The practice proved that it is feasible for this technology to be used in newly filled earth foundation.
