This article introduces a new type of test tool—POTV,and discusses its structure and working principles.By comparison with the traditional annular pressure test valve as LPR-N,POTV is proved to be a kind of superior test valve with reliable performance.On the basis of the application of POTV at some wells in Sichuan,this article describes the field DST technology of POTV in detail.
