Based on a survey of Baylor University, the largest Baptist University in the world, this paper intents to reveal the relationship between American religions and its higher education. It holds that with the high - speed social and educational development, American higher education is being divorced from deep-rooted influence of religions. The typical American religion ideal, i.e., man is born equal in education, is a sheer dream that may never come true.
