本文分别从公共政策、区域经济发展、教育经济学理论、世界其它国家的收费政策等方面探讨了贫困地区高校学生收费问题,并由此提出调整中国现行的贫困地区高校学生收费政策。

The paper probes into the tuition-charge policy in poverty-stricken areas in China's west regions by examining such aspects as public policy, area economic, educational economics theories and tuition-charge policy in other states, etc. Based on the analyses, it makes a proposal to adjust the existing policy.
