Pinglu is deemed as a fas cinating land of idioms and metaphors as clus ters of idiomatic expres s ions we often use today are as sociated with this place, s uch as "chunwang chihan" (when the lips are gone, the teeth will feel cold); "jiatu mieguo or jiayu mieguo" (to have Yu’s permis sion to go through its territory to defeat Guo); "machi tuz eng or machi jiachang" (the horse teethget longer---getting old).
