Island-in-the-Sea Fiber: Processing Technique & Application

海岛纤维由于兼具功能性与舒适性,因而附加值和利润率都很高,自2002年下半年开始,已在国内掀起了生产热潮。文章介绍了海岛纤维的性能特点、生产技术,对其生产中需要的关键性原料水溶性聚酯切片(COPET)以及相关产品的制造技术也作了论述,并列举了海岛纤维的应用及其发展中存在的问题。

Island-in-the-sea fiber has high added value and profit, thanks to both functional and comfort properties. Since the second half of 2002, the production of such fiber has become hot in China. The article introduces the properties and production technologies of island-in-the-sea fiber as well as the technology for processing necessary key material - water-soluble polyester chips (COPET) and related products. It also lists some problems existing in the application and development of island-in-the-sea fiber.
