摘要
针对各向异性激光介质的通光面为方形、泵浦光为高斯光束及泵浦尺寸小于通光面的情况,以Nd:YVO4为例,用MATLAB程序语言对激光二极管(LD)端面泵浦的各向异性激光介质的热传导方程进行数值计算,精确地求出了激光介质中各点的温度和温度分布,从而可以定量地分析出LD端面泵浦固体激光器的热效应,进而设计出高效高功率LD端面泵浦的TEM00Nd:YVO4固体激光器。LD尾纤输出功率为28.77W时,得到18.16W的1064nm激光输出。
For the case of square end faces of the medium,focused Gaussian beam pumping and the pump spot size is assumed to be less than the end face size,the heat equation of anisotropic laser medium by laser diode(LD) endpumped has been studied by using MATLAB program language.The temperature and its distribution in the meidum,such as Nd:YVO4,were determined.So that,the thermal effect in solidstate laser endpumped by LD can be analyzed quantitatively.Based on the result of the thermal effect study,a TEM00 Nd:YVO4 solidstate laser endpumped by LD was designed.The maximum output of 18.16 W at 1 064 nm was obtained by pumping of 28.77 W output from a fibercoupled LD.
