Xufeng System in Five Dynasties

五代叙封制度是在唐制的基础上建立起来的 ,由于所处的历史时代不同 ,与唐制相比 ,又发生了许多变化。如限制了官员之母叙封邑号的条件 ,对申请叙封的官员的条件强调本品与职事官并重的原则 ,由于官员所任职务性质的不同 ,规定了不同的申请叙封的时间 ,严格和细化了申请叙封的程序 ,改变了叙封的范围等。五代叙封制度对宋代尤其是宋初产生了一定的影响。

The Xufeng system in Five Dynasties was based on Tang system and different from that of Tang dynasty due to changed historical conditions.For example,the requirements for granting noble title to the official mother were more difficult to satisfy.For officials who applied for Xufeng,equal emphasis was paid to the duties of the official and his performance of duties.Because the difference in the nature of official functions,Five Dynasties also regulated the time of application,procedure of application,with exactitude and precision,and changed the range of Xufeng.The Xufeng system in Five Dynasties had some influence on Song Dynasty,especially in early Song.
