Informatics Is the Primary Subject of Archivistics and Library Science

从分析档案学、图书馆学、情报学的研究对象、研究方法、学科属性及目的入手,认为情报学由于其研究对象内容的广泛性、方法的灵活全面性、学科目的的先进与实效性而成为档案学、图书馆学的元学科,处于主导地位;档案学、图书馆学则是平行关系,是置于情报科学体系中的次学科。

From analysing the objects, methods, property and purpose of archi-vistics, library science and informatics, the author deems that owing toextensive objects of study of informatics, its flexible and comprehensivemethods and advanced and actually effective purpose, it situates in leadingposition and hence becomes the primary subject of archivistics and libraryscience. As archivistics is parallel to library science, they are subordinatesubjects in information science system.
