A Jacobi elliptic function expansion method is proposed to construct the exact periodic solutions of several nonlinear wave equation(s)-klein-Gordon equation and Hirota-Satsuma Equations. And the periodic solutions obtained by this method include the shock wave solutions and the solitary wave solutions.\;
