Firstly the paper summarily introduces the definition protocols and functions of softswitch.Then the paper discusses the position of softswitch in next generation telecommunication networks.Based on the situation at present it is presented that a scheme which help the transition from traditional telecom muni -cation networks to next generation telecommunication networks.
