Production technology for low-cost titanium products

摘要 钛具有比强度高、耐腐蚀、无磁、超导、形状记忆、生物相容性好等优点,特别适合作为结构材料和特种材料使用,但与不锈钢、铜、镍等材料相比,钛材的价格明显偏高,这极大地影响了钛在一般工业的推广应用。降低钛产品成本一直是钛业内人士追逐的目标,也是进一步扩大钛应用的重要条件。本文概述了近年来国内外低成本钛产品的生产技术,包括金属钛提取技术、熔炼、粉末冶金、加工技术、低成本钛合金研制等,旨在拓展钛的新应用市场。 Titanium has many advantages such as high specific strength,corrosion resistance,non-magnetic,superconducting,shape memory and good biocompatible and so on. It is especially suitable for using as structural and specialty materials. However,its prices are significantly higher than those of stainless steel,copper,nickel etc. ,which greatly block its applications in general industries. The researchers in titanium industry are always seeking to reduce the cost of titanium products, and this is an important condition to expand titanium application. Production technologies ,including extraction titanium metal,melting,powder metallurgical technique,processing and research on low cost titanium alloys etc. are summarized in order to develop titanium new application market in this paper.
