The development history of China titanium welded tube industry was briefly introduced.Change of domestic market demand for titanium welded tube was revealed based on the analysis of the statistical data for titanium strips and tubes imports,and the relationship of domestic titanium tube production capacity with market demand was also analyzed.It is believed that the situation of over capacity is serious for domestic titanium tube production,and has already suffered virulent price competition,even blocked the healthy development for titanium welded pipe and strip industry.What' s more,the change of price and production cost for both titanium tube and titanium strip was also analyzed,and finally the difficulties for the development of titanium welded tube industry were pointed out.
