义乌蔗糖发展史新证

New Evidence for the History of Yiwu Cane Sugar

读《中华蔗糖史》,发现《清稗类钞》中一则关于义乌糖的记载。结合其他材料,分析义乌种蔗制糖开始兴盛的时间、原因及重要生产环节,并旁窥义乌经济社会发展的一些脉络。

By reading″The History of Chinese Cane Sugar″,it is found out that there is a record about Yiwu sugar in″Qing Bai Lei Chao″,a book introduing Qing Dynasty's informal digest.This paper,combining the record with some other materials,analyzes the beginning,the causes and the production chain of growing sugarcanes and making sugar in Yiwu,and finds some ideas about Yiwu development in economy.
