Social value superior to esthetic value is the specific embodiment of politicalized tendency of Left-wing literature,and is the inevitable consequence of its pursuit of political and social effect;of Left-wing writers' intensity of the consciousness of participating political affairs and social obligation;of current politics impact upon writers' artistic personality;of arming their literacy concept with Marxist theories of literature and art.Their esthetic choices not only restricted Left-wing writers' artistic style,but also brought new light to the1930's literature value and changed the esthetic style,which made advocating moving and tragic beauty become the unique esthetic charac-teristics of Left-wing literature.
