As the most devastating storm on the planet,tropical cyclones have long been receiving tremendous attention from various circles of the society,including researchers,weather forecasters,government officials,entrepreneurs and the public.Significant improvements have been made in its scientific understanding,forecasting techniques,warning and disaster risk reduction system in the past decades,owing to the advancement of remote sensing.
