L Ascorbyl palmitate is a natural antioxidant,which has excellent antioxidantion activity.The studies on the synthesis of L ascorbyl palmitate in recent decades are reviewed,and several approaches of the synthesis of L ascorbyl palmitate are described, which give a clue to the studies of the synthesis of L ascorbyl palmitate.L ascorbyl palmitate is usually synthesed with chemical method and enzymatic catalysis method.
