A Comparative Study of Marx's and Whitehead's Humanistic Thought

No philosophy can avoid the human problem,to which Marx and Whitehead have different contributions.Whitehead reconstructed people and society from the perspectives of organism,holism and theism,while Marx provided theoretical basis for dialectical materialism and historical materialism,and provided scientific guidance about the human problem and their future social development.In the comparative analysis of human value,humanitarianism and social civilization,both Marx and Whitehead demonstrated the theoretical characteristics of their respective humanistic thoughts.The exploration,investigation and research of Whitehead's ideology can broaden our theoretical horizons into Marxist research and provide useful references for enriching Marxist humanism.
