摘要
以往研究虽从不同视角探讨了创造性思维中的双语优势效应,但鲜有研究致力于二语水平影响创造性思维的认知机制的探讨,且相关结论并不一致。为弥补先前研究的不足,深入探究二语水平对大学生创造性思维的影响,本研究通过5个实验对二者间的关系及其认知机制进行了系统探讨。结果显示:大学生二语水平对其创造性思维有显著影响,二语高水平被试的整体创造性思维和发散思维均显著高于低水平者,但不同二语水平被试在聚合思维上却无显著差异。进一步的分析表明,执行功能在上述关系中起到了调节作用,即仅当被试的抑制功能和转换功能水平较低时,二语水平对创造性思维的显著影响才会显现。
Though previous research has investigated bilingual advantage in creative thinking,few of them examined the effects of L2 proficiency and the underlying cognitive mechanisms,and the results were not consistent either.The current study aims to investigate the influence of college students’L2 proficiency on their creative thinking and its possible cognitive mechanisms through 5 experiments.The results suggested that L2 proficiency of participants significantly affected their performance in creative thinking.The performance of overall creative thinking and divergent thinking of high proficient L2 participants was significantly higher than those of low proficient L2 participants.However,the two groups showed no significant statistical difference in convergent thinking.Further analysis revealed that executive function played the role of a moderator in this relationship.That is,participants’L2 proficiency had a significantly positive effect on creative thinking only when the executive functions of inhibition and shifting were at low level.
