摘要
James Lantolf多年来一直致力于把社会文化理论(Sociocultural Theory, SCT)引入到二语习得,大大推动了其社会转向。然而不少国内学者在对该理论的概念和内涵认识上存在偏差,甚至曲解。针对这一点,本采访首先从SCT的起源和发展入手,然后对几个重点但易混的概念进行厘清,最后为中国外语教师的发展提出建议。
James Lantolf is the emeritus professor of the Pennsylvania State University.He imported Sociocultural Theory(SCT)into Second Language Development,pushing forward its'social turns'.SCT in China has also witnessed fast development,but with misinterpretations or even misunderstandings.This interview starts from professor Lantolf’s response to questions about the origin and development of SCT,then moves to some major concept clarification.It finally ends with his messages to foreign language teachers in China.Based on the above,proposals for future study are also put forward.The ultimate goal of the interview is to provide reference for the related studies in China.
