During using I_O techniques as a planning or forecasting tool, updating input_output coefficients plays a key role. In this paper, based on the minimum cross_entropy principle of information theory, a series of entropy optimization models for updating I_O coefficients are established according to prior information. A dual algorithm for optimization model with an example is presented. Numerical results illustrate that the entropy optimization updating method is feasible and effective.
