灭蚊真菌-卡地腐霉蚊虫宿主范围初探

A Preliminary Investigation on the Mosquito Host Range of Pythium carolinianum

目的:调查和探讨灭蚊真菌-卡地腐霉的蚊虫宿主范围。方法:野外采集蚊幼虫标本,通过形态鉴定其种属,在实验室按标准化方法测定卡地腐霉对其感染能力。结果:野外5处采集蚊虫标本约600只,受感染蚊虫分属2属7种,加上原有调查资料,到目前为止,已知卡地腐霉的蚊虫宿主共3属12种,内含重要疾病媒介蚊虫3种。结论:本研究初步给出了卡地腐霉在常见蚊虫特别是媒介蚊虫中的灭蚊谱。

Objective; To investigate the mosquito host range of Pythium carolinianum. Methods: Samples of mosquito larvae were collected in the field, and bioassay was conducted to infect them with P. carolinianum after the Identification based on their morphology. The infection rates were recorded and analyzed. Results: A total of about 600 larvae were collected. Among them, 7 species of mosqui-toes belonging to 2 genera were infected by P. carolinianum. Together with the data collected before, so far, there were 12 species belonging to 3 genera of mosquitoes proved to be the hosts of P. carolinianum, and 3 of them are vectors of important infectious diseases. Conclusion: The results of this study provide a valuable contribution to the spectrum of the mosquitoes that have the possibility to be controlled by P. carolinianum.
