“长株潭”地区小学英语教师专业素质现状调查研究

An Investigation of Professional Qualities of Primary English Teachers in Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan City Cluster

采用自制测量问卷,以湖南省"长株潭"地区139名小学英语教师为研究对象,对小学英语教师专业素质现状进行了实证调查研究。结果表明:小学英语教师专业素质整体水平良好,但专业能力比较薄弱,不同性别、不同年龄、不同职称、不同学历、不同专业背景的小学英语教师专业素质水平有所差异。为提升该地区小学英语教师专业素质,应构建促进小学英语教师专业素质提升的有效机制,制定并完善小学英语教师培养培训规划以及营造小学英语教师自主成长的环境等。

Using self-compiled questionnaire,an investigation on the professional qualities of 139 primary English teachers in Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan City Cluster of Hunan Province has been conducted.The results indicate that the overall professional quality of primary English teachers is good except professional ability.Their professional qualities varied in the aspects of sex,age,teaching length,academic qualifications and professional backgrounds.In order to promote their professional qualities,we should establish an effective mechanism to improve the professional quality,formulate and improve the training plan for them and create an environment for their independent growth.
