缩醛类化合物在工业上常用作溶剂、增塑剂等。近年来采用双(2,2-二硝基丙基)甲缩醛(简称BF)与双(2,2-二硝基丙基)乙缩醛(简称BA)的等量混合物(简称FA)作为特种增塑剂。
The 1:1 mixture (FA) of bis (2,2-dinitropropyl) formal (BF) and bis (2,2-dinitropropyl) acetal (BA) has been used as special plasticizer. Oral LD50 of BF, BA and FA for rats were 1920, 2918 and 1994 mg/kg, respectively. An analysis of data obtained suggests that acute combined toxicity of BF and BA is additive. These substances caused methemoglobinemia in dose- effect relationship, and led to degenerative lesions in hepatocytes and epithelial cells of renal proximal tubule but did not show any obvious irritating effect on skin and eyes of rabbits. Consistent with the Salmonella/microsome assay, BF,BA and FA failed to increase chromosome aberrations and SCE frequency in mammalian cells.
