摘要
对钾工质碱金属热电直接发电器件(K-AMTEC)的电特性和力能特性进行了分析计算,并与采用钠工质的碱金属热电直接发电器件(Na-AMTEC)进行了比较。计算结果表明,存在一个电流密度的阈值,当电极电流密度大于此值时,无论是输出电压、电极功率密度还是热电转换效率,K-AMTEC都明显优于Na-AMTEC。在热力学循环的工作温度分别为T1=473.15K、T2=1123.15K的场合,K-AMTEC的最大电极功率密度可达2.01 W/cm2,对应的热电转换效率可达30%,最大热电转换效率可达39%。
The electrical and energetic characteristics of AMTEC with potassium working fluid (K-AMTEC) are calculated and compared with those of AMTEC with sodium working fluid (Na-AMTEC). It is indicated that K-AMTEC is better than Na-AMTEC obviously in output voltage, electrode power density and thermal-to-electric converting efficiency when electrode electric current density is above some eigen-value. When the working temperature T2 is equal to 1123.15K and T1 473.15K, the maximum electrode power density of K-AMTEC can be above 2.01 W/cm2, corresponding thermal-to-electric converting efficiency being 30%, the maximum thermal-to-electric converting efficiency reaching 39%.
