本文通过探讨目前社科类译作中存在的一些主要问题以及这类著作的文体特点,认为此类著作的翻译要遵循三个基本原则:"忠实原文、译名统一、重视读者",这样才能有效提高译文的质量。

This paper, based on a discussion of the major problems and stylistic features of social science translation, puts forward the view that highquality social science translations should be 'faithful, consistent, and TL readeroriented'. 
