In conneption with the fiue gas energy recovery automatic control system a for catalytic cracking unit modernization and reconstruction project, the author gives a brief description of the principles and features of a axial-flow compressor control and protection system employed in the above-cited system. In addition some personal observations have been presented concerning the design work of the said system.
