袋式阀控式密封镉镍蓄电池的开发和应用

摘要 分析了不同结构的镉镍电池实现密封和少维护的原理,重点介绍了袋式阀控式密封少维护镉镍蓄电池的特点及应用。采用充电效率高、析气量低的活性物质是实现密封和少维护的关键,电池结构的优化设计和阀控式气塞的应用是实现密封和少维护的重要技术措施。该蓄电池可以与普通袋式镉镍蓄电池实现互换,在55℃高温时能放出额定容量的100%,0℃时可放出额定容量的90%,-18℃时可放出额定容量的70%,在-40℃仍能放出额定容量的20%,因此,高低温性能优良;在1.42~1.45V/只、浮充电压下浮充使用时,每Ah每天的耗水量仅0.005~0.015mL,可实现2~5a不维护的目的。该蓄电池恒压充电接受能力好,可靠性高,寿命长,适用范围广,特别适合于长期浮充电使用,是袋式电池的发展方向,符合用户的需求。 The principle, properties and application of valve-regulated low maintenance Ni-Cd pocket storage battery were introduced.To develop sealed and low maintenance battery, adopting the active mass with high charge acceptance and low gassing rate is the key point, the optimal construction and regulating valve are also necessary. This battery is replaceable with the conventional pocket Ni-Cd battery. At 55 ℃, 0 ℃, -18 ℃ and -40 ℃, the respective delivered rated capacities are 100%, 90%, 70% and 20%. Therefore, the battery is characterized by good performance at high and low temperature. If it is operated at the constant float charge voltage of 1.42~1.45 V, the water loss for 1 Ah/d is only 0.005~0.015 mL, no maintenance is needed within 2~5 a. The battery has advantages of good charge acceptance at constant voltage, high reliability, long cycle life, and wide application, especially suitable for float charging at constant voltage for a long period. The battery represents the future development direction and is welcomed by the users.
