Xianzaoxian 33 is an excellent and middle season new early rice cultivar is bred from the Huai5882 5×Chaofengzao 1 throughout selections of progenies.This rice cultivar has suitable,with the same whole growth period as the control cultivar Xianzaoxian13.It has better rice quality, higher protein content, better resistance to disease and harmful insects,and excellent adaptability. This rice cultivar has an average yield of 7.5 t/hm 2 and most yield of 8.25 t/ hm 2 or more.It was approved for release in Hunan Province Crops Cultivar Approving Committee on February 22,2002.
