The reactive oxygen species includes the various oxidative substance,whose chemical property is active and oxidative capacity is strong. They can not only damage the plant cell but also play positive part in the defense reaction. The paper is simply an attempt to summarize the metabolism of the reactive oxygen and its signaling conduction in plant through the recent research.
