Building a Key Industrial City of Guizhou under the "Two Zones and Two Laps" Framework

贵州省万山特区曾是中国最大的汞工业生产基地,有"中国汞都"之美誉。上世纪八十年代末,随着汞资源逐渐枯竭,汞矿生产日益萎缩,2009年被国务院列为全国第二批资源枯竭城市,享受国发〔2007〕38号文件各项优惠扶持政策。万山特区委、政府提出了"工业强区、商贸活区、农业稳区、生态立区"的发展思路,着力在"两带两圈"框架下建设贵州工业重镇,万山工业重新焕发生机。

Wanshan special district of Guizhou province was once the biggest Chinese mercury industrial base with the reputation of 'China mercury capital',but its mercury production was shrinking daily with the mercury resource depleting in the end of 1980s.Wanshan was classified as national second batch of resource-exhausted cities by state department in 2009,and shares national preferential policies.Wanshan special district committee and government proposed the thought of 'industry strengthens the district,business animates the district,agriculture stabilizes the district and ecology protects the district',and focus on building key industrial city of Guizhou under the 'two zones and two laps' Framework.Wanshan's industry revitalizes now.
