新形势下高职院校图书馆应为培养面向生产、建设、服务和管理第一线需要的高技能人才服务。要能肩负起人才培养的重任,作为图书馆员必须具备较高的素质,即具有崇高的职业道德、熟悉的专业知识、熟练的操作技能、良好的职业形象和健康的身心素质,才能充分发挥现代图书馆的服务职能,才能适应新形势对人才培养的需要。

Under the new situation, libraries in higher vocational colleges should service high skilled personnel for fostering oriented production, construction, services and the needs of first-line management. To be able to shoulder the heavy responsibility of cultivating talent, a librarian must be high quality, namely lofty professional ethics, familiar with the expertise, skilled operation skills, a good professional image, physical and mental health quality. Only in this way, can modern Library service functions be given a full play and adapt to personnel training needs under the new situation.
