英汉作为两个非亲属语系,其差异性造成了翻译的障碍,有必要运用一定的翻译技巧。本文以历年高等学校英语应用能力考试真题为例,对英汉笔译技巧进行分类、分析和探讨,借此提高考生的翻译水平并且给课堂教学带来一定的启发。

The differences between two un-related languages—English and Chinese—pose great obstacles to the translators,which requires the use of certain translation techniques.With the intent of improving the skill levels of the students’ abilities to translate and bringing insights to the in-class teaching,this paper categorizes,analyzes and explores the E-C translation techniques while incorporating the authentic examples from the previous Practical English Test for Colleges.
