人民政协在国家治理体系中的地位是我国实现政治制度核心内容和基本框架的重要机构之一,是爱国统一战线组织、多党合作和政治协商机构、人民民主的重要实现形式;作用是政治协商、发展民主,参政议政、建言资政,协调关系、汇聚力量,桥梁纽带、联系群众,民主监督、促进工作,服务大局、助推发展。
The status of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference(CPPCC) in the national governance system is the core content of the political system and one of the most important institutions. It is also an important form of organization of the patriotic united front, multi-party cooperation, political consultation institutions, and people’s democracy. Its function lies in political consultation, democratic development, political participation, giving suggestions, coordinating relations, gathering strength, bridging links, contacting the masses, democratic supervision, and promoting the work, serving the overall situation and boosting the development.
