中国图书馆碑铭序记初探

Study on Inscriptions of Chinese Libraries

碑铭序记是中国图书馆创建发展史上最重要的文献之一,具有独特的史料及文学价值。其中的碑刻撰文及书丹多出自名家,具有文物、书法价值。因战争及政治的风云变幻,很多碑刻已毁弃残损或散失不存。碑铭序记文则散见于各类报刊、方志、家谱及文集,搜辑难度较大,整理亦极为不易。故亟待汇辑整理此类文献,以考史溯源,启迪后人,传承弘扬这一优秀文化传统。在此基础上,保护图书馆早期老建筑,建设图书馆文物及用品博物馆,当是图书馆界刻不容缓的责任和义务。

As one of the most important literature types, inscriptions with unique historical and literary values play an essential role in the research of Chinese library development history. Particularly, the inscriptions wrote or engraved by masters have historical and calligraphy value. Due to war and political changes, many inscriptions have been destroyed or even lost. It is difficult to collect the inscriptions and edit, as they are most frequently seen in newspapers, journals, genealogies and anthologies. It is urgent to compile the inscriptions to trace the roots and inspire people in the future, so as to inherit and carry forward Chinese traditional culture. It is library’s duty and task to protect library old buildings and set up library heritage museums.
