历史地理材料在海岸与海平面研究中的应用

APPLICATION OF HISTORICAL-GEOGRAPHICAL DATA IN THE STUDY OF SHORELINE AND SEA-LEVEL

一、引言处于海陆界面的海岸带是个十分敏感的地段,海平面的变动必将在海岸带得到反映。海岸线的变化对于人口密集、经济发达的沿海地区影响极大。因此,海岸与海平面的研究日益得到各国政府和科学界的重视。近几十年来,发达国家将现代科学技术及手段广泛地应用于海岸与海平面的研究,诸如航空和卫星遥感、冰川研究、深海钻探和电子计算机资料处理等。它们在定性、定量和时空研究上具有广阔的前景,对于探索海平面变化规律和原因亦有所裨益。但是,我国是具有数千年文明史的古国。浩瀚的古横、丰富的文物为我们保存了绚丽多彩的历史地理材料,其中许多材料同海岸与海平面变比直接相关,为这项研究提供了得天独厚的条件。

As a civilized country with a history and culture of tong standing,China has abtmdant historical-geographical data,furnishing us a unique tool in the study of shoreline changes and sea-level,fluctuations.Based on the ancient toponomy,ancient constructions and engineerings,ancient cultural relics and sites,and various historical documents,this paper illustrates the changes of shoreline and sea-level in China.In the application of historical-geographical data,we strongly recommend following four points for attention:1)We should discard the dross and select the essential,eliminate the false and retain the true in the analysis and comparision of data;2)Various data should be used in coordination to zuppliment each other;3)We should go about making inquiries in the masses and survey in the field to collect related facts;4)We should coordinate the historical-geographical data With the results of modern science and technology.These are the key points in our catching up with the advance international level in the study of shoreline and sea level changes.
