几种沉积物粒度参数间的相关关系

CORRELATIVE RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN THE GRAIN-SIZE PARAMETERS BY DIFFERENT AUTHORS

本文用浙、闽、粤沿岸海滩、潮坪、浅海、河流三角洲、浊流和风沙等现代沉积物样品517个,按矩法、Folk-Ward、Trask的参数公式计算其粒度参数,然后在得自不同公式系统的参数数据之间进行回归分析,建立了其间的一系列回归方程。各方程分别对均值、分选系数、偏度和峰态等作描述。对各方程进行显著性检验的结果表明,所有回归方程都是高度显著的,矩法参数与Folk-Ward参数间具有更紧密的相关性。这有助于沟通不同参数系统得到的不同参数资料,使其能相互对照使用。

Grain size parameters of more than 500 sediment samples were calculated with three sorts of parameter formulas presented by different authors:Trask’s,Folk&Ward’s and the Moment measure parameter formulas.Then the correlation analysis was performed between the results of every two sorts of the formula systems,and a number of the regressions equations describing the correlative relation between different authors’parameters were obtained,in which the descriptions covered all the four parameters:mean value,sorting coefficient,skewness,and kurtosis.All the regression equations were subjected to the significance test.The results show that all of them had high significance,and the correlations were especially close between the Moment measure parameters and Folk&Ward’s parameters.The establishment of these equations will be conducive to linking up and comparing the different parameter data got from different parameter formula systems.And the setting up of the equations well also be benefit to linking up the criteria of sedimentary environments based on different authors’parameters.The sediment samples talken in the calculation and analysis were collected along the southeast coastal areas of China.with various styles of depositional settting:beach,flat,shallow sca,bay,river delta,and aeolian sediments;So the regression equations have a rather good base of application.
