海平面变化研究中沉积压物实量的估算

ESTIMATES OF SEDIMENTARYCOMPACTION IN SEA LEVEL STUDIES

本文从讨论影响沉积物压实作用的因素出发,提出了一种根据沉积物的平均孔隙度-厚度关系曲线计算埋藏沉积物压实量的方法,并应用此法计算了福建沿海平原中几个钻孔沉积物的压实量。另外,还讨论了该方法尚存在的一些问题。

In order to solve the problem on estimating the compaction of sediments which has puzzled many sea level investigators for a long time,the author presents here a mathematical methodf or calculating the compaction of buried ediments basing on average porosity-thickness curve.On the basis of this method,several 14C samples in Fujian coastal plains are calculated for their subsidence caused by compaction after burial.In addition,the possible sources of error involved in this method are briefly discussed,and some practical recommendations for improving this method are given.
