摘要
针对传统的专用指令集处理器ASIP(Application Specific Instruction Set Processor)设计方法不足,提出基于体系结构描述语言的系统级综合方法。尝试在嵌入式系统设计中融合先进的软件工程成果提出一种构建ASIP设计平台的方法,对ASIP的特点和构架进行描述。将ASIP的系统级设计任务划分为行为、结构、综合3个层次,以参数化的体系结构模型为基础,采用统一建模语言UML(Unified Modeling Language)对ASIP进行描述,可扩展标记语言XML(Extensible Markup Language)存储其结构的数据模型。以Web平台THinkPHP框架为基础,使用软件代码生成技术自动生成HDL(Hardware Description Language)代码,并对流水线进行仿真测试,形成实用的ASIP集成设计环境。
Aiming at the deficiency of traditional ASIP(Application Specific Instruction Set Processor)design method,this paper proposes system level synthesis method based on architecture description language.In the embedded system design,this paper tries to presents a method to construct the ASIP design platform,and describes the characteristics and architecture of ASIP.The system level design tasks of ASIP are divided into 3levels:behavior,structure and synthesis,in a parameterized architecture model as the basis,using Unified Modeling Language UML(Unified Modeling Language)to describe the ASIP,Extended Markup Language XML(Extensible Markup Language)store the structure of the data model.Based on Web platform THinkPHP framework,automatic generation of HDL(hardware description language)code using software code generation technology,and on line of simulation test,practical ASIP integrated design environment.
