Application Prospects and Development Challenges of Visible Light Communication

摘要 传输介质创新往往会掀起新通信技术革新的浪潮。自从可见光被尝试用作信息传输媒介起,可见光通信技术(Visible Light Communication,VLC)在短短数年间迅速成为无线通信技术领域的研究热门课题。可见光通信继承了LED反应速度快、不受电磁干扰及可靠性高等优点,在照明的同时实现了无线通信。基于此,在系统介绍可见光通信结构和特点的基础上,重点介绍了可见光通信的应用前景,并分析讨论了可见光通信的一些关键技术和可见光通信未来的发展挑战。 The innovation of transmission media often leads to the wave of innovation of new communication technology.Since visible light has been tried as an information transmission medium,Visible Light Communication(VLC) has rapidly become a hot research topic in the field of wireless communication technology in a few years.Visible light communication inherits the advantages of fast response speed,no electromagnetic interference and high reliability of LED,and achieves wireless communication while illuminating.Based on this,the structure and characteristics of visible light communication are introduced systematically.The application prospects of visible light communication are emphasized.Some key technologies of visible light communication and the development challenges of visible light communication in the future are analyzed and discussed.
