摘要
EPON与WiMAX融合已成为光接入与无线接入融合发展的重要方向之一。EPON(Ethernet Passive Optical Network,以太网无源光网络)以其高带宽和低成本等优势成为有线接入网的主流技术,WiMAX(Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access,全球微波互联接入)作为一种无线接入技术,与LTE(Long Term Evolution,长期演进)同为4G标准,则在支持高带宽、灵活接入方面具有优势。因此,进行EPON与WiMAX技术的融合,可充分利用光纤接入的高带宽、传输距离长和无线接入方式的灵活性和移动性等优点。本文首先介绍了EPON与Wi MAX融合接入技术,然后对EPON与WiMAX融合接入的设计与实现过程进行了分析,最后提出了一种利用FPGA技术实现该技术的方法。
The integration of EPON and WiMAX has become an important development tendency of optical access and wireless access.EPON has the advantages of high-bandwidth and low-cost,and it gradually becomes the mainstream of cable access technology.WiMAX is the new technology for broadband wireless access network,which supports for high-bandwidth and flexible access.Therefore,If combining the advantages of these two technologies by integrating these two technologies,we can take full advantage of high bandwidth and long transfer distance of optical access,and flexibility and mobility of wireless access.This paper at first introduce the integration technology of EPON and WiMAX,then analyse the method to how to achieve the integration,and at last use FPGA to implement it.
