五台山佛教音乐源远流长,已经凝聚成历史的活化石。当前,面对文化大发展、大繁荣的历史契机,以"北方佛乐"著称的五台山佛教音乐的生存与发展面临诸多困境。关注、调查、搜集、整理五台山佛教音乐,传承、创新和发展五台山佛教音乐是民族音乐工作者的历史使命。一要坚持传统佛教音乐的系统传承;二要提倡传统佛教音乐的创新发展。

Wutaishan Buddhist music has a long history and has already condensed into a historical living fossil. At present,facing the historical opportunity of cultural development and prosperity,Wutaishan Buddhist music,so-called 'Northern Buddhist Music',has met with many dilemmas in existence and development. It is our duty to pay attention to,investigate,gather and collect Wutaishan Buddhist music. And it is the historical mission of our national folk musical workers to inherit,innovate and develop Wutaishan Buddhist music. We should inherit Wutaishan Buddhist music systematically,advocate its innovation and development and make it develop soundly and replay extraordinary splendor in order to make contributions in Shanxi cultural province strategy and the creation of Humanistic Wutaishan.
