Life of Pi by Canadian author Yann Martel contains various Biblical archetypes, ranging from images, structure to theme. The contradicted images magnify pursuit for goodness, while Christian images represent the quest for faith.The narrative structure fea-tured by U model reflects humanistic concern of the traditional literature, while the romantic legend interprets the theme of redemption and rebirth.The writer attempts to propose a solution to the modern spiritual crisis by absorbing the nutrition of Christian tradition and myth.
