On Nov.29,2006,Chinese women's footballer Ma Xiaoxu not only clinched the AFC Women's Plaver of the Year award but also stormed what was hitherto a male bastion by winning the AFC Youth Player of the Year award. Ma impressed the world with her superb performances for China in all the women's tournaments in 2006.
