According to public opinion polls in Japan,the victory of a Mongolian sumo wrestler was only second to the appointment of the government. A recent upstart D.Dagvadorj won all but one match in the spring professional sumo wrestling season and hit the headlines. The Mongolian wrestler beat down such renowned Japanese sumo masters as Yokozuna Musashimaru,Kayo,Dejima and Chiyotaikai by the ninth day of competition. There are now 38 foreign wrestlers in the Japanese professional sumo league,out of which 25 are Mongolians.Two already managed to put their feet into the top league.
