On the Labor Movement of Shanxi Province in the 1920s

20世纪20年代,虽然山西的工业发展水平及产业工人数量远不及沿海的大城市,但仍然爆发了一系列的工人运动。山西的工人运动规模不一,其中以太原大国民印刷厂、太原制革厂以及晋华纱厂的工人罢工最具代表性。山西的工人运动是全国工人运动的重要组成部分,其爆发对三晋大地乃至全国革命形势的发展都具有积极的历史意义。

Although the industrial development and the number of workers of Shanxi province in the 1920s were far less than the coastal cities, there still broke out a series of workers’ movement due to the growing number of the workers, their tragedy life, the spread of Marxism and the influence of the workers’ movement in other parts of the country. The workers’ movements of the Big National Printing Plant in Taiyuan, the Leather Factory in Taiyuan and the Jin-hua Textile Factory were the most representative. The labor movement of Shanxi province in the 1920s was an important part of the national workers’ movement, and had positive significance to revolution of Shanxi even the country.
