Simulation and Optimization of Low Pressure Casting Process for C5M4 Aluminum Alloy End Cap

摘要 应用ProCAST软件对C5M4铝合金端盖低压铸造工艺进行数值模拟,设计不同浇注系统,在优选浇注方案基础上,采用正交试验研究了浇注温度、模具预热温度、充型压力和充型速度对C5M4端盖低压铸造工艺的影响。通过正交试验,得出最优工艺方案:浇注温度为700℃,模具预热温度为250℃,充型压力为40kPa,充型速度为80mm/s,在优化工艺方案基础上添加冒口,端盖缩松、缩孔体积由75.23cm^3降为68.96cm^3。 The low pressure casting process of the C5M4 end cap was simulated by the ProCAST software.By orthogonal experiments,the effects of pouring temperature,mould preheating temperature,filling pressure and filling speed on the low pressure casting process of C5M4 end cap were analyzed based on the optimized pouring scheme from experiments on different gating systems.Through orthogonal experiment,the optimized technological scheme was presented as pouring temperature of 700℃,mould preheating temperature of 250℃,filling pressure of 40 kPa and filling speed of 80 mm/s.Through adding risers on the basis of the optimized technological parameters,shrinkage porosities of end cap can be reduced obviously from 75.23 cm^3 to 68.96 cm^3.
