Application of Chinese veterinary medicine on control and cure of infectious bursal disease

传染性法氏囊病 (IBD)是由传染性法氏囊病病毒引起的一种急性、高度接触性传染病 ,能引起鸡大量死亡 ,死亡率高者达 80 %。近年来采用中草药治疗和预防鸡传染性法氏囊病作了大量的实践和理论研究 ,证明应用中草药制剂防治鸡 IBD有显著的疗效 ,副作用小 ,病原菌一般不产生耐药性 ,且资源丰富 ,价格低廉 ,值得推广应用。

Infectious bursal disease (IBD), an acute infectious disease induced by virus of IBD, could cause heavy death of chicken. The mortality reached 80% in the most serious case. Control and cure of the disease with Chinese medicine were carried out greatly in the past years in both application and study. Chinese medicine showed obvious effects on control of the disease with feeble side effect. The pathogenic virus didn't produce any resistance to the medicine, indicating it is worth applying extensively.
